The Iora is an infant bassinet designed to make parents feel more connected to their infant while they sleep. It adjusts up and down and can be moved through three slide positions to be placed next to the bed of the parent or in the corner of the room to ensure that your baby is close to the parent's side. Unlike some other smaller bedside cribs The Iora can be folded flat and comes with a carry-on bag to allow it to be taken wherever. It was easy to move around from room to space, and our mum testers felt it was the perfect size for a bedside crib. The large storage basket is ideal to store bedding and nappies.

This is a great choice for parents who wish to sleep together, but don't wish to share their bed. Or if one of the parents has mobility issues, such as arthritis or back pain. Our mom testers loved the ease with which they could access their baby in the Iora and that it came with an optional reflux incline that helped reduce gas.

Our moms love that it follows NICE guidelines. These include placing the infant in a Moses basket or crib on its own, without toys, blankets, pillows etc. They also claim that the mattress is firm and comfortable for the baby and easy to find sheets for. It isn't as light as other smaller bedside cribs, though, so if you want something lighter and easier to move around with, think about one of the other options on our list.
